The Municipality of Solano commemorated a momentous occasion as newly elected and reelected local officials solemnly took their oath of office. This ceremony embodies a renewed commitment to accountable governance, public trust, and the relentless pursuit of inclusive development. Municipal Mayor, Atty. Philip A. Dacayo, fervently reiterated his call for unity, articulating his profound affection for the municipality: “One Solano, Love Solano!”

First Inaugural Session of the 12th Sangguniang Bayan

The 12th Sangguniang Bayan of Solano, under the esteemed leadership of its Presiding Officer, Vice Mayor Eduardo DL. Tiongson, convened its inaugural session, heralding a new era in legislative service. First of its kind made historical as the session was graced by the presence of the Local Chief Executive Atty. Philip A. Dacayo. The momentous event underscored the Mayor’s Six-Point Executive Agenda and a collective appeal for exemplary governance, participatory leadership, and legislative excellence in service to every Solanoan.

Reading Tutorials by DOLE Government Internship Program (GIP) Beneficiaries

In collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment, the Municipality of Solano, through the Office of the Vice Mayor, persistently and consistently advocates for literacy and education via the Reading Tutorial Program. Government Interns, the majority of whom are Licensed Professional Teachers, visited various elementary schools to assist young learners—kindling a passion for reading and empowering the next generation through impactful community engagement. It was truly heartwarming to observe these educators as they meticulously prepared their visual aids and rewarded their tutees with biscuits for their attendance and active participation.
